I always return for my city breaks at this lovely lodge. It has everything I need - Wi-Fi, free parking, and a well-equipped kitchen. The staff even helped me with bug spray on my first stay. I have no regrets!

Sound Bar in the room: I felt like I was in my own personal movie theater with the 43-inch 4K TV and Sound Bar. The surround sound truly elevated my movie-watching experience, making it feel like I had front-row seats to the action. It was a cinematic delight!

manakau lodge in kaikoura exceeded our expectations yet again. the beautiful location and rural charm made our stay unforgettable. the friendly staff always helped us plan our days, and breakfast was a delight with a wide range of options. don't forget to bring an apple for merlin the donkey.

Mosquitos and horse flies were a nuisance.

We had an amazing xmas getaway at this cozy lodge. the host was so friendly and gave us great tips on where to eat and what to see. the view of the mountains was breathtaking and our room was so warm and comfy. We loved waking up to the delicious breakfast prepared by the host. It was the perfect start to our day. We also enjoyed having our own private sitting area outside where we could relax and take in the beautiful surroundings. Definitely a special place to spend the holidays!
